Who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion

Who should be marrying the wrong girl

Y/n stood outside the church where his best friend Rory and his ex wife were getting remarried. Sure... he had loved her since they were little kids but she wasn't right for him. She was pushy and rude, sometimes she acted verbally abusive to his best friend and long time crush. To him it seemed selfish but he thought that Rory should be marrying him

I sneak in and see your friends
And her snotty little family all dressed in pastel
And she is yelling at a bridesmaid
Somewhere back inside a room
Wearing a gown shaped like a pastry

Y/n looked around before sneaking into the building, making sure nobody saw him. Of course he just happened to be spotted by The Doctor and  his wife, River, who also happened to be Rory and Amy's daughter. He didn't question it. The man actually seemed to shoot him a half glare, as if telling him to back off and not "ruin" a perfectly good wedding and at the same time wanting for him and Rory's happiness, while the woman seemed sympathetic towards him, giving him a look of "Go get him tiger". From where he leaned against the wall he could hear the redhead  yelling at one of her bridesmaids. He almost sneered at the thought of the girl's dress, he had seen a picture and it looked somewhat like a pastry.

This is surely not what you thought it would be
I lose myself in a daydream
Where I stand and say

Y/n's mind drifts as he imagines himself boldly standing , walking up to the alter and confessing to the man.

Don't say "Yes", run away now
I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the back door

You need to hear me out
And they said, "Speak now."

Telling Rory not to say "Yes", asking him to meet him at the back door and pleading him not to say the vow. As Amy gives him a look you just stare and say "They said speak now"

Fond gestures are exchanged
And the organ starts to play
A song that sounds like a death march
And I am hiding in the curtains
It seems that I was uninvited by your lovely bride-to-be

Y/n hides behind the blue curtains as the organ starts to play a song which to him sounds faintly like a death march. He wouldn't have known about this if not for Rory telling him, apparently the bride hadn't invited him to this.

She floats down the aisle like a pageant queen
But I know you wish it was me,

Don't you?

He noted the fact that her dress makes her look like she's a pageant queen and he has to suppress a giggle. Y/n looks at Rory's face to see an almost regretful look as he scans the room, looking for his friend.

And they said, "Speak now."

Y/n gathers up his courage as he replays his daydream from earlier, preparing to speak up for himself and try to win Rory over.

He readies himself to step out from his hiding place, straightening his outfit, a plain flannel and jeans with converse.

I hear the preacher say, "Speak now or forever hold your peace."
There's the silence, there's my last chance.
I stand up with shaky hands, all eyes on me.
Horrified looks from everyone in the room
But I'm only looking at you.

As y/n hears the preacher say "Speak now or forever hold your peace" Y/n scrambles out from his hiding spot, standing in front of everyone as his hands shake. He heard the horrified whispers from some of the wedding-goers but he ignores it. E/c eyes locking with green.

"I-I shouldn't be here... I never even confessed to you. But... Rory you're marrying the wrong person. Think about it, you do so much for Amy but she does so little for you. Not only that but she's slightly verbally abusive and pretty much an all around bitch to a lot of people." Rory seemed to be thinking about this rather seriously, conflicted expressions flashed across his face.

So, don't say "Yes", run away now,
I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the back door.

And they said, "Speak now."
And you say, "Let's run away now,
I'll meet you when I'm out of my tux at the back door.
Baby, I didn't say my vows,
So glad you were around
When they said, "Speak now."

"Rory, don't say yes, run away with me! I'll meet you at the back door so don't wait or say your vows. Please hear me out, they said speak now! And Rory Williams? I love you!" Rory's breath hitched as he stepped down a step, a livid look spreading across Amy's face. "Let run away right now, i'll meet you when i'm out of my tux at the back door okay? N/n, I didn't say my vows, i'm so happy you were around when the priest said speak now!" The last thing that the two did before they ran off together was rather surprising to most. Rory, yes Rory, pulled y/n in for a kiss, it was sweet and has love poured into it. When they pulled away Y/n grinned and motioned for the man to change, hitting his butt playfully as he left. The man grinned at River who had supported the whole thing, she knew love very well. "Congrats sweetie, you and him will be very happy together." As Rory called for him when he was done changing, he smiled at everyone blissfully before running to meet him.
